Thanksgiving and all

Ah, such busy-ness lately! Thanksgiving noon I was at 1st Pres, watching the deacons serve a sit-down meal to the homeless. I'm in charge of the Christmas meal for the Lamb's Lunch—we've never done a sit-down meal before, and I'm kind of drowning in details ... And I had Thanksgiving dinner with Tia's family (I work with her and her girls in their homeschool program Mondays). And I went to the BCBC (Chinese church) Thanksgiving service that evening—and had the inestimable privilege of seeing Chris's baptism, and hearing Karen, Chris, Wanqing, and LeHao speak. Purrrr! My lighted nativity scene is up in the yard, and today Patty Ritscher and I put lights in the maple and on the bushes. My tree is up inside, and lighted (mostly). And I'm happily listening to Christmas songs on CD. So, on this first day of December, I can solidly say I'm in the Christmas spirit. I hope your December is a happy and blessed one!
