Fall into Reading Happily browsing Angela Hunt's website, I came across a mention of the Fall into Reading Challenge, from Katrina at www.callapidderdays.blogspot.com.
The challenge seems to be to list the books I want to read between now (the first day of fall) and December 21 (the first day of winter). Three months. My goodness, probably half the books I'll read haven't even been published yet!
So I can't list titles. I'm sitting on When the River Runs Red and James Scott Bell's No Legal Grounds. Those are top items on my read-this-soon list.
Otherwise, well, I intend to read a new book at least every two weeks (so, at least six new books). And re-read two or three every week (so, about 24 to 36 old books, staring with Penelope Wilcox's The Hawk and the Dove). Not counting books I read for school (children's books, that is). Nor magazines that come in. Nor manuscripts I'm editing (two author friends, a pal in seminary whose papers I polish, and his son whose papers I also polish).
I'll gladly take recommendations on books to put on my list—send suggestions and summaries my way, please!
