Suppertime, and the beagle is barking!

Treats are waiting, and you’re ready to play!

Oh, your kitty is fat, and your mama’s good-looking,

So hush, little beagle, don’t you bay!

Every morning, girl, you rise up yelping:

Cats and rabbits, people walking their dogs.

Guard the window, chase away all the bad guys,

Plus people who want to walk or bike or jog.

Suppertime, yes, your living is easy!

Just wait at your dish, and the food will appear!

Oh, your kitty is fat, and your mama’s good-looking,

And Sallie, when you bay, all the world will hear!
