Hmph! from Dolphin: It is an increasing burden to be the most intelligent creature in our house. Usually I'm content to sit around and think deep thoughts, but sometimes ...
The dog—well, it goes without saying, I suppose, but still ... Elsi tosses dog biscuits into the bathroom, and the stupid animal walks right on in, in spite of knowing that every single time Elsi then locks her in the room! Ridiculous!
And today ... Elsi drove off with the dumb beast, heading out to have anal glands expressed and nails trimmed. And off trots Sallie, tail wagging, perfectly content to be tortured! Unbelievable.
So Elsi gets back, lures the beast into the bathroom, and swoops me up and out to the car. Well! I told her exactly what I thought of that! Of course, she didn't listen (not smart enough to understand, I suppose). She drives me to the so-called vet, where they hold me down and—in spite of my fervent explanations—clip my nails. Aaaarrrggghhhh!
Then Elsi steps on the scale with me and informs everyone that I weigh 17.5 pounds. And Dr. Clint Kay, the silly man, smiles and says, "All love!" The idea! Hmph! I swore at Elsi all the way home. I'm sure she won't make that mistake again!
World domination is looking more and more attractive ...
