wags and purrs Lady here: I do not understand why my mama doesn't make it warmer out there! I certainly don't see her squatting in the snow! Why, there's a windchill of 4 degrees, they say! This is not acceptable at all! And I know my mama could change it, if she only would. Sigh. Poor woman, she just doesn't seem to realize how hard this is for my old bones! Oh, well, I love her anyway. And when I come in from outside in the middle of the night, I slip under the covers and press my chilled body against her warm thigh until I'm all comfy again!
Dolphin here: I agree, our mama just doesn't show commonsense! After all, catnip mice are meant to be tossed and pounced at! What difference does it make if light strings and ornaments get involved in the process? After all, a tiger's gotta do what a tiger's gotta do! If Mama doesn't want me tangled in the lights, she should move the lights! After all, my enjoyment is the most important thing there is!
And I find myself thinking, How often do I think or say similar things to God, assuming He doesn't care enough to make me comfortable ...
