Lots of little praises In Sunday school this morning we talked about using both words and our lives to share God's gospel of freedom and salvation. We also took time to go into the sanctuary to see Kristi and Kevin's baptisms!
In worship, Pastor Harvey preached on the rich young ruler, and asked us what comes between us and the Lord. Our time of singing was rich and encouraging.
This afternoon, when I should have been doing something profitable, or at least napping, I sorted through my box of books from Joe Wheeler (Christmas in Your Heart and several others; go to www.joewheelerbooks.com for the complete list). And played the "Free Rice" vocabulary game—such fun (www.freerice.com)!
And out to dinner at Red Lobster with my across-the-street neighbor Flora, where we feasted, talked, shared what the Lord's doing in our lives, and looked at some of my summer travel photos.
Lady's enjoying being featured by Kathy Mackel (see yesterday's blog entry). Dolphin's a tich irritated by the whole thing. "What," he asks, switching his tail, "is all the excitement about? After all, it's not me!"
