Don’t believe it!

My mama (aka Elsi) doesn't always get her facts straight. She posted about my visiting yesterday, and wants to write that I sneaked out again this morning but was foiled by the rain and her quickness. Well! Hmph! Not a chance! As a wild beast, not to mention a member of Homeland Security, I have a job to do. I defend my helpless mama and her even more helpless dog against all sorts of dangers. As part of my job, I occasionally need to patrol the perimeter, just to be sure no foul beasts are getting ready to attack. I am frequently outside performing my duties, leaving the house by ways known only to one of my level of brilliance. Occasionally I allow my mama to "catch" me, so she feels she is in control. This has psychological advantages for me, so I permit her to pick me up and so forth. I even (sometimes) allow her to take me to an evil place and trim my nails. I am fully aware that I can resharpen them in record time, and she has been lulled into a false sense of security. So don't believe what you read about me in these posts. I am totally on top of the situation. You needn't worry in the least. Thank you very much.
